A scientific mind finds a problem and attempts to apply known solutions to similar problems in the hopes that the result can be replicated or at least direct failures toward eventual success. Comedy’s sort of like that.
In this scientifically accurate episode of STAB!, host John Morris Ross IV welcomes Nick Magavern, Court Hansen, Ruby Setnik and Jesse Jones and invites them to share with him their four different takes on KFCA&W, twelve Google Searches from a drunk raccoon, and their various thoughts on International Day for Tolerance, Janet Reno, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Queen Mother Elizabeth, Dick Gross, Epcot Center, Kool A.D., Hostess Brands, slam poems about Christmas trees, beef logs, the periodic table of elements, and business cards, the dating profiles of teenage Nick Magavern, an entire improv troupe, the norovirus, and Carrie Underwood’s unborn baby.
You know, if you think about it, comedy is a lot like science. You delicately mix elements in specific proportion in the hopes of a positive reaction. But much like science, sometimes it just blows up in your face.
